Founded in 2022, Golden Mongkhon International (GMI) builds on a legacy of hosting Muay Thai events in India since 2010. With the launch of the 1st Golden Mongkhon National Championship in 2021, GMI set its course to develop athletes from grassroots to professional champions.

Recognised by the World MuayThai Federation (WMF), GMI’s primary focus is the structured growth of Muay Thai in India through national championships, athlete development, and pathways for international recognition.

To establish India as a global force in Muay Thai by building a transparent, structured, and professional ecosystem — powered by a national ranking system — that empowers athletes, coaches, and academies to rise from grassroots to world championships.
